Jimmy Page Reflects on His Relationships and the Lessons…

Jimmy Page, the legendary guitarist of Led Zeppelin, has lived many lives within a single lifetime. Known for his revolutionary approach to rock music, his mystical aura, and his quiet presence off-stage, Page has also experienced both the highs and lows of personal relationships. Now in his eighties, Page says he has finally found peace. That sense of tranquility, he reveals, comes not from music or fame but from his relationship with poet Scarlett Sabet, a woman more than four decades younger than him.

“After being married twice, I now found peace in Scarlett Sabet despite our long age difference,” Page recently said in a reflective moment. The comment was simple but deeply telling. Page has been married twice before. His first marriage, to American model Patricia Ecker, began in 1986. The two had a son, James Patrick Page III, born in 1988. The marriage lasted until 1995, when the couple divorced. That same year, Page married Jimena Gómez-Paratcha, an Argentine-born humanitarian whom he met during a charity tour in South America. Together, they had two children, Zofia Jade and Ashen Josan, and Page also adopted Jimena’s daughter from a previous relationship, named Jana. That marriage eventually ended in 2008.

Following his second divorce, Page spent time away from the public spotlight, focusing on raising his children, preserving Led Zeppelin’s musical legacy, and curating archival releases. He also continued restoring the Tower House, his historic West London residence that once belonged to actor Richard Harris. During this time, Page largely kept his personal life private—until 2014, when he was photographed with a striking young poet at his side.

Scarlett Sabet, born in 1989, is a published poet and performer from London. Educated in literature and theatre, she carved out her own space in the world of modern poetry, publishing several chapbooks and performing at literary events across Europe. In 2014, she met Jimmy Page at an event in London. They connected over a shared love of art, spirituality, and creative work. Their relationship quickly deepened, despite the public’s initial reaction to their age gap.

Since then, the two have lived together in the Tower House. Far from being a fleeting connection, their partnership has endured for more than a decade and grown stronger with time. In 2019, they collaborated on Catalyst, a spoken word album featuring Sabet’s poetry and Page’s atmospheric production. The project was praised for its emotional depth and originality. Page, who once filled stadiums with roaring electric guitar, now helps to amplify Sabet’s soft yet commanding voice.

When asked about their relationship, Page speaks with quiet conviction. He does not pretend that their age difference is irrelevant, but he emphasizes that love, understanding, and mutual respect matter more. “There is a serenity in our relationship,” he says, “a shared creative energy and emotional connection that I did not expect to find again at this stage of life.”

Sabet has also spoken openly about the bond they share. She praises Page’s kindness, humility, and support for her work. Living together in a home filled with history and surrounded by art, the two appear to have created a life that balances solitude with inspiration.

For a man whose life has been punctuated by massive fame, mythical rumors, and turbulent relationships, Jimmy Page seems to have found something both rare and enduring: a peaceful, private love that thrives not in spite of the odds, but because of what each partner brings to it.
